While there is initial set up cost, after that you can see your energy bill slowly decreasing over time. The downsides are few. The HID lights are created for practicality but not for their charm or beauty. These are not lights used for creating ambiance. They are usually produced with only a few styles or designs, so you cannot be too creative with the shape or style of your HID fixture.
